WHAT IS STITCH FIX:
Stitch Fix is a monthly (or semi-regularly, it’s up to you) personal stylist service. The most popular option is a monthly home delivery of 5 clothing and accessory items picked for you by a stylist. The monthly stylist fee is $20 (yep, that’s it!) and if you choose to keep any of the items, that $20 goes toward your purchase. Once your Fix arrives, you’ll have 3 business days to decide which items to keep. A prepaid return package is always included if you need to send items back. I simply slip my returns into the mailbox or arrange for USPS to pick-up larger items from my front door. To purchase the pieces you want to keep, log into your online account and select the ones you’re keeping and checkout. That’s it!
If you are someone who hates shopping but doesn’t mind someone shopping for you, this is perfect. If you are someone who needs to be shopped for – then you need this service. And lastly, if you want to step out of your comfort zone and let someone else give you style suggestions based on information you’ve given them, this is what Stitch Fix is all about!
HOW TO SIGN UP:
Your Stitch Fix stylists will need to get to know you, so begin by creating an account and taking a personal style quiz and filling out a style profile. This is kind of fun and gives you quite a bit of say in what shows up at your door each month. **You will select your desired price ranges during this part as well. All of your answers and preferences can be changed at any time.
You should also start a Pinterest Stitch Fix board for your stylist to see what your personal style is all about. Be specific and detailed with what you post on there, that will help guide them. There’s a spot in your style profile to paste the link to your Pinterest board.
You can leave the stylist’s additional messages if you are looking for something specific to arrive in your box – for example, if you have a wedding to go to, or will be going on vacation, job interviews, etc. Your stylists will send you options for these events. You can request to NOT receive specific items in your boxes. I asked not to receive pleather, paisley patterns, or real fur…
You’ll select when you’d like your box delivered each month (or how often), and it’ll arrive on your doorstep You’ll get an email a week or two before, asking if you have any last minute requests for your stylist, and another email when your box has shipped. Once it arrives, you’ll have 3 business days to decide on which items you’ll keep or send back.

Vero Moda Betsie Notch Collar Knit Jacket:
Shop the Look:
This jacket gives the appearance of structure and sophistication while providing the feel of a soft and cozy sweatshirt. It’s really just an unlined fleece jacket without all the cumbersome knickknacks of a more expensive coat. It feels like soft fleece and is easy to move in. I’m wearing an XS and part of me felt like it looked a little frumpy and oversized. When I found out this coat was on its way to me I was super excited about adding this to my wardrobe for spring but ultimately I was just too on the fence about fit and sent it back.
KNYT & LYNK Akayla Cowl Neck Cashmere Tunic Sweater:
Shop the Look:
If only every sweater I owned could be made of cashmere. Sigh…. I own a sweater just like this one only it’s made of scratchy polyester and not super soft and luxurious cashmere. While I can’t afford to trade in my older rougher version at the moment it was fun to pretend and try on this lovely sweater.
Kaileigh Francine Tie Front Knit Top:
Shop the Look:
I was surprisingly more interested in this sweater once I had in on than I thought I’d be. I have so many button down tops that I can tie in the front and re-create this look with that initially the sweater underwhelmed me. After I had it on I thought it was really cute and also comfortable. I let the financially responsible smidge of my soul return it but I can definitely see a spring and summer full of looks recreated from this moment.
Warp + Weft Susie Coated Skinny Jean:
Shop the Look:
How long has it been now since I’ve been on the hunt for faux leather jeans? At least a year. Last year I turned down a beautiful pair from Trunk Club and another coated pair in a later Trunk because they were either too small or uncomfortable. But the thing about this pair was that I couldn’t find anything wrong with them. I could hardly believe it myself when I realized I finally found my faux leather jeans!
Heartloom Mona Ruffle Trim Cotton Top:
Shop the Look:
As pretty as this top was, it just wasn’t really for me. I don’t have anything bad to say it just wasn’t on target with where I am with my own style these days.
