Favorite Beauty Products of 2016 |www.pearlsandsportsbras.com|

I always love sharing any notable finds with you and its been awhile since I’ve told you about what’s going on in my beauty bag. Thanks to friends and word-of-mouth I’ve discovered a few great things this year that I think you guys will love. I’ve also tossed in some old favorites that continue to please. As someone with a super low-key beauty regimen it’s rare for me to find something worth adding so this list is somewhat short but definitely delivers!

My Amazing Blow Dry Secret: Even though this is a somewhat recent find for me it has changed my life. Ok – a bit of an exaggeration but I’m only being slightly dramatic. Just shake and spritz a little of this magic on before you brush and dry your hair. It detangles, speeds up drying time, tames frizz, and protects and shines. As someone with really thin and fine hair it’s super tangled after a wash and this product minimizes my effort and the damage done from brushing – I go from wet knotty mess post-shower to dried and styled in 5 minutes:

Olay Total Effects Moisturizer plus Gradual Sunless Tanner: An oldie but a goodie. I don’t use this during the summer and fall because it doesn’t have SPF and  I also don’t need the sunless tanner or extra moisture during that time but I find that my face starts crying for this around early November. The formula is non-greasy and yet still provides adequate moisture and anti-aging affects. The gradual tan is very subtle, offering a faint healthy glow, which is perfect if you are like me and don’t wear foundation, bronzer, or cover-up.

Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish: This polish has proven its worth and is true to its name. Long-lasting with Gel quality I was impressed enough with my results I wrote a whole blog review about it!

Tanwise Dark Bronzing Sunless Mousse: The most un-orangey self tanner there is. After reading a million reviews online I chose to start using this tanning mousse based on all the high ratings. I’ve been very pleased with the color and results – the smell is good too. Some of the product does rub off initially so I typically apply all over (even on my face) after a shower with a mitt. After it dries put on a pair of pants and long-sleeved tee and go to sleep. Shower in the morning, moisturize, and enjoy your natural-appearing and SAFE tan!

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream: It’s that time of year – I’m washing my hands 50-75 times a day at work and they are dry, chapped, and sore. A basic moisturizer just doesn’t cut it right now. Luckily, a colleague introduced me to this fantastic miracle that works magic on my hands! My only qualm is that the scent isn’t great. I’m willing to overlook that when I’m desperate though.

Poo-Pourri Before You Go Toilet Spray: I’m not sure that this qualifies as a beauty product but it’s definitely a purse must-have. This amazing little spray covers up any unpleasant smells that might result from using the facilities. Let’s not try to pretend that sometimes we have to go at inconvenient times. Or maybe facilities are in tight quarters. A few sprays before and after you go and no-one will know! And, it really works! It makes a funny and unique gift too.

Thanks for stopping by!
