Fab Finds February: Volume II
Here is a roundup of my purchases for the month of February! I grabbed some pretty sweet stuff last month and I’m excited to share with you! It wasn’t a very big month for me in terms of shopping in stores but I did receive my first Trunk Club shipment. The best part about this is that the clothes I buy through that service are also available to you – and I’ve linked them for you below if you’re interested.
Linen-Blend Hi-Lo Tee from Old Navy
Cargo Vest from Target
Another favorite from this month, this vest. I love the length of this one. It’s really lightweight too. I’ve already worn it a ton and plan to wear it all through spring. I’m also wearing it here and here.
Urban Legging from Target
I grabbed these to workout in and I love them! They fit really well and are so comfy. They have a hidden string for the waist so they don’t slide down. I thought the print was funky too.
Halogen Scoop Neck Woven Tank from Trunk Club (Nordstrom)
This will be perfect for spring and summer both weekends and at work. Its light, flowy, and comfy, I loved the print.I’m wearing it here.
Free People ‘Sheila’ Drapey Wrap Front Knit Top from Trunk Club (Nordstrom)
Madewell Landmark Texture Sweater from Trunk Club (Nordstrom)
I asked for a fitted grey sweater and although this doesn’t exactly fit the bill I still loved it. It’s very cozy and perfect for layering over plaid tops and gingham. It also has 2 side zippers that aren’t visible in the photo but give it a cool look.
Two by Vince Camuto Mixed Media Jewel Neck Tunic from Trunk Club (Nordstrom)
I didn’t think I’d like this much but I’m glad I had my stylist send it anyway because I did keep it. It’s perfect for work and layering. There are other color options too.
T-Shirt Dress – Stripe from Target
I apologize in advance if this is the only thing I wear all through spring and summer. I’m wearing it here.
Free People Skinny Distressed Jeans from Bloomingdale’s
I got these on sale! My only complaint is that right out of the bag they appeared to be more of an off-white. I washed them with whites before I wore them and I thought they lightened up a little and once I had them on they looked just as white as the photo above. These fit me great – I own the same pair in black and was happy they fit the same. They aren’t see-through either, which is a plus! I’m wearing them here.
Celine Ballet Flats in Stripe from Target
Obviously I have spring on the brain. Aren’t these perfect? They are really comfy too but I had to buy a half size down. They come in several awesome colors, go check them out! I’m wearing them here.
Kendra Scott Elisa Pendant in Ivory Pearl
I have been raving about this necklace for a while (here and here) and I’m so glad I finally nabbed it, it’s perfect! I never want to take it off, I love it that much. Possibly my favorite purchase this month!
Aida Tassel Pendant Necklace from Stella and Dot
A friend of mine recently hosted a Stella and Dot party and this was my purchase. I love so much of their stuff and if it weren’t for price I’d own more pieces. This necklace can be worn 6 different ways and I’m having fun playing around with it. I especially love the tassel, which is super huge this spring! I’m wearing this here and here.
Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll
This book was interesting but good. The main character is very hard to like and that’s intentional. She has a horrible past that is slowly revealed throughout the novel and you begin to understand how she has landed herself in her present. The author does a great job at keeping you reading because you will desperately want to know the outcomes of both her past and present life.
The Forgotten Girls by Sara Blaedel
I’m not yet finished with this but so far so good. It takes place in Denmark, where a troubled investigator has to identify a woman who is found dead in the woods. The woman has a disfiguring scar on her face and should be easily identified but no one claims her. As the case begins to lead the investigator down roads she wasn’t expecting, more women are turning up dead in the woods. And this is where I am currently, and I plan on finishing.
Hello Spring Sign from Target
I can’t find this online to link for you, but I grabbed this inexpensive spring sign for my front door. It’s been through a few windy/rainy storms now and is holding up well! So pretty. Love the wreaths too.
That’s it for my finds this month, thanks for stopping by!
