Whether you’re looking for gift inspiration for a lovely lady or in need of ideas for yourself, I’ve got you covered. These are my picks – items on my own wishlist that I’m excited about and love enough to recommend! The list is diverse enough to cover almost every type of lady: from the girly girl, to the exercise nut, to the homebody bookworm. I happen to be all 3.
Lets get started!
1. Thug Kitchen Eat Like You Give a F*ck
This is a cookbook for anyone who eats healthy (or who wants to) and also has a sense of humor and curses like a sailor. A friend and I read through an excerpt of this and I knew it was a perfect match. This cookbook reads like I talk in real life and I’m envious of the author’s ability to get paid to be offensive. I’m in awe of the mouth-watering recipes. It’s also the perfect cookbook for a guy. They have a website you can check out if you want to learn more!
2. Nikon DSLR Camera
If your girl loves taking photos, it’s time to take her to the next level. Moving up from a point-and shoot-camera definitely has a learning curve but it’s time well spent and worth the investment. This is the DSLR camera that I chose for myself. Up until now, I’ve used my Iphone to take every single photo for this blog that isn’t a product photo. The photos are grainy and lackluster and I cannot wait to see what I can create with my new DSLR! I also asked for this additional lens, for those pretty subject photos with blurred backgrounds.
3.The Master’s Hammer and Chisel Base Kit with Autumn Calabrese and Sagi Kalev
A friend told me about Beachbody’s newest workout program, The Mas ter’s Hammer and Chisel. It’s meant to help tone and sculpt so that at the end of the 60 day program you have a defined physique. Most of my workout programs are centered around intense cardio and weight loss so I’m excited to try something that focuses on toning and defining! This is a perfect gift for your fitness nut 🙂
4. Hair Tie Bracelet
This is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen all year. As a working lady with long hair, I’m expected to look professional but I also need to be able to put my hair back at a moments notice to do a procedure or go to the OR. I always have hair ties around my wrist, and I promise you, this just looks unprofessional. Unfortunately there’s just no way around it. But this bracelet that lets you hide your hair tie? Genuis. I’ll take 2!
5. Aerie Cozy Up!
This is my favorite winter-time scent. I purchased a bottle last year and now I’m almost out! It smells just like it sounds, cozy! I wrote a “Favorites Friday” post about it last winter, where I describe it in more detail. I don’t think you can go wrong with this one!
6. Over-sized Cable Knit Throw
If you don’t even know where to start with gifts this year, this is it. I’ve been dying for one of these for over a year. They come in a range of sizes and price points, depending on what you are looking for. You can get a cable-knit throw for a couch for a reasonable price or a full-size blanket (OMG! Yes, please!) for $300. There are several makers on Etsy that will custom design one for you. There is no single better, softer, cozier, pretty gift.
7. Iphone Case
I specifically love this case, but if glitter sand isn’t your thing, this site has an endless supply of gorgeous options. Their cases definitely stand out. They have other Iphone accessories as well.
8. Faux Fur Vest
I’ve been dying for a faux fur or shearling vest. How warm does this sucker look? If your lady is a fashionista that’s always freezing, you can’t go wrong here (I think that includes about 50% of the female population).
Is she a blogger, in school, or just generally an organizer (or maybe should start…)? This is a cute little gift. Popsugar provided a list of gorgeous options. I love this Kate Spade one but click on the link and check out all the others.
What are your favorites? What’s on your wishlist this year?
Thanks for stopping by!
