Hi there! It’s time for another Monthly Jewelry Box Subscription review
Or is it? Seems like I just did one…… I think what happened was, when I subscribed, my first box was sent out a month late (which was disappointing but it was also around Christmastime so I understood, they were probably overwhelmed with new subscribers).
My first box arrived in January (they say which month they are for right on the box) and you can find the review for that here 🙂 I had mixed feelings about this box.
My second box arrived early in February, and that review is here 🙂 I also had mixed feelings about this box…..
And this, my third box, is also a February box – I assume one of these Feb boxes is my make-up box for not receiving one in December. And there’s good and bad.
Good: this is my favorite box so far.
Bad: it includes an item they already sent me.
It arrives the way it always does, via USPS in my mailbox in a small square cardboard box. If you need to see details about packaging, please see the links posted up there ^^ I have photos.
Inside, is the same…… a little card with jewelry care tips, and an anti-tarnish canvas satchel that all of the jewelry is within.
Just a reminder: When subscribing, you fill out a quick survey selecting your jewelry tastes. I chose Gold only and that I like a mix of dainty and bold pieces.
First impression: LOVE the chunky necklace. Had this been my first February Box (or first Olia Box for that matter) I would have been very happy!
Chunky Necklace and Matching Earrings:
The necklace is very pretty – it has chunky white, pink, translucent, mint, and gray stones. The matching earrings are white stones with an odd texture. I wore them with the necklace, which is something I usually avoid, and thought they looked ok together.
This necklace is something I would have purchased for myself if I had laid eyes on it in a store 🙂 Good job Olia Box!
I like this necklace, it’s very cute and “dainty”. I love how the chain is laced around the heart so that it is freely mobile. This will be really cute to layer with my gold bar necklace (featured here) and my crystal quartz necklace (featured here).
You can see my previous review for this ring here, since I got it in last month’s box. I am not happy with getting the same thing twice…. I wouldn’t have minded another ring in a different style. I’ll keep this one in the package because unfortunately I have a feeling the polish will wear off of my first one after a little wear and I’ll have this one as back-up.
I could probably try to contact Olia Box and ask for a different piece but I’m not sure the hassle of sending this tiny ring back would be worth the reward.
After last month’s Olia Box I was leaning towards switching up my jewelry subscription but since I’m pretty happy with this one, I think I’ll hang around for another month or two 🙂
What did you guys think? Have you ever tried a monthly Jewelry subscription? What are your recommendations?
As always, thanks for taking a moment to check out my blog!
