Olia Box: February Review
Here’s what I received in my February Olia Box: Just a reminder:I get the $45 box – I chose gold and selected both bold and dainty jewelry.
If you don’t know what OliaBox is, you can find my first review and a description of it here: Olia Box: Monthly Jewelry Subscription
Came in the mail the same way it came last time, delivered via USPS – nothing damaged (address blocked out in this pic).
Another anti-tarnish bag holds the jewelry. Nothing was tangled or broken.
The theme this month was blush tones and simplicity, it seems.
Which, is pretty perfect for me because I’m a lover of all blush tones.
cough. yep. so, it might be an obsession. Regardless…. I have lots of pink/blush/rosey colored jewelry. Which makes me both sad and happy for this month’s Olia box. I have been hoping for things that make me step out of my jewelry box…. and this necklace and the earrings are safe.
Blush double-stranded statement necklace:
The necklace is pretty. Gold chain/hardware. Depending on the light, the bigger stones are pink or apricot. The smaller stones are a white transluscent stone – they are pretty. Honestly, I would have looked at this necklace in a store but probably not have chosen to purchase. I will wear this necklace.
* The rings are my own, I purchased these from Old Navy some time ago…. they are a bit much next to the necklace but they did look nice with this outfit. I’m also wearing the midi ring that came in this box 🙂
Blush studs: these are pretty. Kind of big, but that’s jut my personal preference. I will wear these, but not with the matching necklace. Gold hardware.
Diamond studs: These are very pretty. Again, I have probably 2-3 similar pairs already in my jewelry box…. as I assume a significant amount of other girly girls do. They won’t fool anyone, they don’t look like diamonds, but they are decent quality CZ’s and give off a nice crystal sparkle. I like them, and I’ve already worn these as well.
Braided Midi Ring: very cute! I’m glad they sent this, as I’ve been wanting one (a few 😉 ) of these. It’s simple and cute. I’ve already worn it, and I’ll be getting more I’m sure. The quality doesn’t feel that great, I have a feeling it isn’t going to last too long, but I’ll enjoy it until the color tarnishes. It also fits my pinky finger as a ring.
Midi ring and the crystal studs, love it! Also wearing a custom gold and amethyst ring created for me by these awesome crafters: Petro’s Jewelers.
What do you guys think? Thanks for stopping by!
