What I’m Wearing Wednesday

Last week was so busy! There was Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Christmas weekend!

I, like always, dressed as festively comfortable as I could! Here are a few snaps of what I wore.

I think this outfit photographed a little unusual- most likely my flash. I thought it looked simple, casual, and slightly unique in person. I was most excited about the necklace – it’s such a beautiful green (and very closely matches my current favorite nail polish by covergirl – outlast stay brilliant in “give’em the green light”- you can see swatches and read more about this polish here). The necklace with little diamond accents dress up this otherwise simple outfit.

Mustard Cardigan: Target 2014
Navy Long-sleeve tee: Target 2013
Black leggings: TJ Maxx 2014
Brown Boots: Old Navy 2012
Necklace: Charlotte Russe 2014

Christmas Eve outfit! I wore this to work because I knew I’d need to leave straight from there to my Dad’s house for our annual Xmas Eve seafood and Prime Rib feast. And yes, I did feast. Fortunately, my leggings also seem to have something like a built in “spanx” component for my waistline!

Black and Cream Striped Dress: Old Navy 2014
Burgundy Scarf: Target 2014
Black leggings: TJ Maxx 2014
Wedge Boots: Rack Room Shoes 2012
Belt: ??? I think it came with a shirt from target….

BONUS: I styled my black and cream “beetlejuice” dress several ways to show you  (yes, that’s what I have named it- don’t let the name fool you though, I love this thing, I try to wear it often, and in different ways each time!)

Dress styled with just a statement necklace and again with the necklace and belt.

Necklace: Charlotte Russe: 2013

I liked this vest with the outfit. Unfortunately, for Christmas Eve, it just wasn’t dressy enough. The vest took the dress to a whole other casual level. I was loving this because I thought I’d stay warm and cozy but opted for the dressier look, for once…

Vest with gold accents: Old Navy 2014

Christmas Day! We had 4 places to visit, all of which are out in the middle of nowhere, so I did my best to dress festive and practical.
